Anticipated Mastery Date
AnsweredCan the Anticipated Mastery Date on the goal page be removed, autopopulate a date 1 year away, or at the very least allow the field to be typed into, instead of having to click 12 times to get a date a year away?

Hi Jana,
Thank you for reaching out with this request! The 'Anticipated Mastery Date' field under Benchmark(s) or Short-Term Objective(s) can be hidden on the Goal form, with the approval of the IEP Primary for the district. As benchmarks are typically used as 'stepping stones' towards progress of the overall goal, many districts may anticipate mastery of these smaller goals prior to the achievement of the larger goal.In order for the Embrace® system to ensure consistency with dates, particularly for reporting and charting goal data, the field uses the calendar format. Allowing dates to be typed into the field could result in incomplete/inconsistent data (typing a date as mm/dd/yy vs. m/d/yyyy for instance).
Rather than scrolling through to the desired date on the calendar, you can click on the Month/Year header to easily navigate from month to month and year to year without needing to scroll through each month, which should speed up the date selection. For reference, please see our knowledge article http://success.embraceeducation.com/hc/en-us/articles/360041922053-Using-the-Calendar-Date-Picker-Clock-within-a-Document. (*Please note, you may need to log in to Embrace® and then re-click the article link in order for our Help Desk to recognize that you are logged in as a user. This gives you access to additional articles that are not available to the general public.).Please let us know if you have further questions/suggestions we can assist you with!
