On the Embrace® login screen, users will see a "Forgot Password?" link.
Upon clicking on the link, users will be prompted to enter their e-mail address they use to log into the Embrace® system. Please note, you must be able to receive e-mail at the address that is registered to you in this system.
After submitting their e-mail address, the user will receive an email titled "Embrace Password Reset Link" with a link to reset their password with a verification code.
After clicking the link or entering the verification code, the user must answer their security question to reset their password.
After successfully resetting their password, users will receive a confirmation email titled "Embrace Password Changed" and no further action is required.
Please note, this link will assist users with resetting their password independently, only if the following conditions apply:
1.) The user has previously logged into Embrace® and has created their Security Question.
This security question is required to use the "Forgot Password?" link. If a user needs to update their security question, they can do so under User Options > Account Settings.
If a user is logging in to Embrace® for the first time, they should use the passphrase provided from Embrace® to their district at the initial training session OR the password provided by their district administrator. Upon initial login, the user will be prompted to reset their password and to create their security question.
2.) The user has an Alternate Email Address on the Edit Users page.
When the link is accessed and the Primary/Login email is entered by the user, the email message will send to both the Primary/Login email address, AND to the Alternate Email Address, if one is saved to the user's account. This will allow users with a non-functioning Primary/Login Email Address (often used in cases of providers with multiple accounts) to reset the correct account's password.
3.) The user's district does not utilize LDAP or SAML for user authentication.
For clients that utilize a more secure user authentication method, login credentials for users are managed through the district. For this reason, Embrace® is unable to reset a user's password. When a user with an email address associated with an LDAP or SAML account clicks the "Forgot Password" link, they will receive an email with their district's SAML or LDAP information:
Your district utilizes a user authentication method that manages how staff log in to the Embrace® system. Because of this secure connection, your district has a custom login page. Please verify that you are logging in at the correct location using the link below:

If you are needing assistance with either your username or password, please contact an Admin or the IT department at your district for further assistance.
Thank you,
Embrace® Team

If a user is unsure of the passphrase or if their district uses a more secure authentication method, they are welcome to contact an Embrace® Customer Success Specialist.
Please note: When a user submits a password request via email, Embrace® will require the user to call our office (Toll-Free: 888-437-9326) as part of the verification process to retrieve their temporary password. Passwords are not provided via email for security reasons.
